While organ harvesting is becoming more and more accepted in many locations across the world, organ theft is something that will always be considered as a crime. It is simply not right to remove the human organs, even of dead people, unless there is some consent of some sort, from their relatives or loved ones. Nowadays, there is still some indication that organ theft happens more often than some experts would admit.
For example, it has been stated that at least 5% of the kidneys used for kidney transplants worldwide came from questionable sources. Needless to say, this is not a good report and those who violate the law should be punished accordingly.
Organ donation is still the best idea because this is where individuals voluntarily give permission for their healthy organs to be used by another person when they die. Yes, organ donation can truly save lives in very meaningful ways.
